Dacia beat me to announcing it!
Yes, it’s official. I’m proudly a part of Team Waking Vixen - officially Audacia and me. Here’s the thing, you would never know it based on her body of work, but Dacia is a one-woman media machine! Did you know that she:
*Wrote a book titled Naked on the Internet: Hookups, Downloads, and Cashing In Internet Sexploration? It’s really interesting. I recently read it and I’ll review it on my blog soon, but even the title is compelling, is it not?
*Writes, produces, and edits Live Girl Review - “video reviews of sexual culture and media: books, film, art, and yes - porno and sex toys. Not always well-behaved and tasteful, but always smart and critical, while never losing sight of that whole fun thing.”
*Was an executive editor of $pread Magazine from January, 2005 - January, 2008
*She directed a film, The Bi-Apple, which” features straight, strap-on, boy-boy, girl-girl, and boy-boy-girl sex scenes, and an all-natural bodied, racially diverse cast.” It’s especially worth noting that her debut film crossed the line from kink to mainstream when her film was mentioned in Oprah Magazine (July, 2007)
*She even talked sex on CNN!
So although it looks like she has an entire staff working for her, the fact is, she’s just incredibly bright, ambitious, motivated, and most importantly, creative! So while she may not have an entire staff, she does officially have staff, as I am officially catalina[at]wakingvixen.com.
It’s always an honor to work with someone you admire. In this case, it’s especially an honor, as I become the first person that Dacia has chosen to bring on her team as she expands her empire. Just you wait to see what we have planned!
